Benefits And Usage
If you are looking for something that is focused on simplicity then you will love the Everlast Weighted Vest. It is made out of neoprene and it has built-in iron and sand weight filling so you can use it easily and it will also give you a really good weighted vest that you can use for running.
This is also easily adjustable to make the vest fit really snug by adjusting the side straps to it fits tight around your chest and weights. It has textured panels underneath the Vest that will secure the placement of the weights and they will stop the moving about which is a really good feature where a lot of weighted vests miss this.
This would be great to run with as it is light weight and gives you the freedom to move your arms freely. It is also one of the cheapest weighted vest that I could find as well so that you can afford this on a tight budget. If you are looking for something that is in the mid priced range check out the review for the Cross101 Adjustable Weight Vest Here.
Keeping in perspective of how this vest is designed let’s look at some of the comments I found when reading the reviews. I found a guy who was very happy with the vest who has used it for at least a year for running, heavy bag training and other exercises. He was happy with it and thought it was really comfortable.
There was another buyer who likes to use it when doing the stair master, exercising on the elliptical and also doing lunges. Again it served it’s purpose.
Everlast Weighted Vest has a great rating here on amazon. That is a statement that speaks for itself.
For anyone looking for a light weight vest this is definitely an option. One of the customers made a comment that you can adjust the vest on the sides to get it as snug as you want. He had used it for running, boxing bag training and other exercises. That’s a big deal because you most of the heavier vests move around a lot and actually cause chapping along the skin.
Some others commented on it being to big for them and they considered themselves to be petite in size. Another user made the comment that you could wear this under your shirt at work. That one is totally specific to your body built and what you would be doing during the day. You have to remember this is not an adjustable weight vest. It’s either 10 or 20 pounds and that’s it! If you go out and put this vest on thinking you can wear this all day long without working into it, you will end up with a sore neck and shoulders.
Please understand that you need to work into the amount of time you wear the vest just like you would when doing any new exercise. Your body has to get used to it. I saw people complain that it was too heavy. My comment to them is you bought the wrong vest for the wrong exercise or you didn’t let your muscles adapt over time and let them get strong enough to go the amount of time you want to workout.
Should I Buy It?
This a fantastic vest for the price that you can use to help you get fit and lose weight as well as put on muscle! Give it a try if you want a fixed weight vest that has a very open fit and will let you be really mobile in the exercises you are doing. If that is not what you want check out our weighted vest guide here or even look at one of my favorite HumanX weighted vest.
Either way know what you are getting into and the purpose you want to use this for. It’s a great vest and at the lower end of the weighted vest price scale too.
